Wayside Inn

Postby JOHN1F » 13 Jun 2011 17:25

Just heard a nasty rumour that the Wayside Inn is closed this year. Would someone please tell me that this is not true. For me the Wayside is the best restaurant in Icmeler.

Thanks for all the replies. I was getting a bit worried there. I can honestly say that in all my years of going to Icmeler that the Wayside is the best. I would say that the Loveboat shades it on visual service, but for quality of ingredients, taste, and general enjoyment of the staff and the place, the Wayside comes top.

Go to the Tansas supermarket, turn left up by the bakery in the direction of the old village, 200yds on your left is the Wayside. Try it. You will not be dissapointed.

The Wayside was the first restaurant we went to in Icmeler and we make a point of going every year. It's always very nice.

My friend and I went there on recommendation from someone, we both had different things on the menu and we were not impressed, I dont eat meat but my friend does and she said it was ok but average.
Best meal ever I had in Icmeler was at De Ja Vue but the music was doing my head in! Far too loud. We couldn't hear each other speak.
