I haven't had a chance to get in this year due to other commitments but I took the dog for a walk last night along the front and saw the new decor and it looks very nice and they have worked hard and spent a lot of money.

Hopefully I will get in next week sometime to see the show and get some new photo's

Its the Harmony Bar, walk down to the beach and walk along the Prom to the right, at the end the path goes left towards the harbour, follow this, the first bar is Deniz Kapisa and the next is the Harmony Bar.

The Harmony Bar is a bar/restaurant, but the Stella Show itself is just that - a show. In fact, it's a drag act.

Not my cup of tea either, but loads of people on here have been to see it - several times, for some - and love it.

dawnandrob... The Stella show is quite good, my two teanage boys wan't impressed last year when i told them we was going to see a drag artist but they really enjoyed it. He/she can be a bit near the bone at times, if you know what i mean, but it is all in fun and there are many many people who go to see him/her year after year

Finally got to see the show for the first time this year last night.

As we were walking down the steps to enter the now enclosed bar a couple were walking out muttering something about 15 lira charge and that all they wanted was a bottle of water each and that was it.

The place is now far better than before, the bar has moved and gives it a whole more clubby feel.

The guests I was with chose a 12 lira cocktail as their first drink so really only 3 lira entrance.

The place is filled with air con units so is really cool compared with what it used to be like.

A lot of the show is brand new and lots of the old favourites are still there and Michael as usual was up to his tricks with the customers.

I enjoyed it and so did everyone else that was in there and the show is now extended until after 12.30am.

Would I pay again to get in?? Yes definitely as the first drink recoups your entrance money and when you think about it how many times have you been in there in the past and had to stand while someone with one bottle of water hogged the best seats

Thanks for the clarification John, looks like I'll be having a cocktail too  :D

We always seem to take our September holidays when Maureen has her birthday.

Last year we went to see Stella, had a meal and a great time.

Must admit I was negative when reading about the charge, but I m mellowing a bit I think.
I understand there is a lot new in this years show and as John says, the right choice of drink pretty much takes care of the fee.

I reckon it will be quite likely that it will be Stella and a meal again on the 9th.

HI we got back yesterday, we went to Stella Show and they did charge 15TL this was added onto your bill at the end of the evening but you could choose any drink of the menu so we all had a 15TL cocktail. the prmises are much nicer now and cooler, Show was fantastic, there are 2 different shows on alternate nights. Food was ok nothing special. we went again the following week and sat at the bar, i persuaded them to let us in half price as we didn't want a table, they agreed eventually and we still got our 15TL cocktail

I would recommend anyone to give this show a try. We first heard about it a few years ago and I resisted going thinking it really wasn't my kind of thing. However, we went on holiday with some different friends who wanted to give it a try and I went along. I was really surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Since then I usually go the show during each holiday. We didn't get chance when we were there in May but it is definitely on the list for a visit later this year.
