club tokmak 1st 2 weeks in aug

hi all

has anyone any info on the club tokmak goin with the wife and 2 lads on 31st July for 2 weeks .1st time in turkey and any info of where it is and what bars or restaurants are near these apartments. Also is there a supermarket to get drink in the fridge for a night time before we go out......

Club Tokmak is near to Tansas supermarket, they sell everything you will need.

Going by your name you might want to frequent the Geordie Bar which is across the road and down the street opposite Tansas. Someone on here said the beer was 3TYL

We are going to Club Tokmak on 24.7.10 for 2 weeks.
We are from Doncaster but are going with some Geordie mates we met last year in Icmeler. Cant wait to go back

Hiya,

Ive stayed in these apartments for 3 years, lovely and clean, Sarah and mustafa are brill, bar staff awesome! 24 hour bar!
Down side is no entertainment.. only a turkish night every sunday if enough people. A short wee 5 min walk you'll be where all the bar etc are. hope you enjoy it!

Stayed at Club Tokmak 4 years ago,situated up by the market just pass tha Kleopatra partments.Rooms are very good and have either views of the pool or the market

We stayed there last year and thought the apartments were lovely.

The only small complaint I had was our balcony, we were facing the market and the wall was so high I couldnt see over it. This would be a good thing if you had kids, but I like to have a bit of a view when sitting on the balcony.

We went to bed on the Tuesday woke up to find the Market in full flow, we never heard a thing and it wasnt because of to much alcohol the night before

We are staying at Club Tokmak 2nd - 16th August - its our first time to Turkey and can't wait - really pleased that the market is still next door (there was a rumour that it was being moved) then I can leave hubby with his beer and go shopping whoohoo!

I have stayed here twice & going back in August 6th...Fantastic apartments, 5 mins walk to bars & shops, 10 mins walk to centre, 20 mins walk to beach. Last year 28 of us went (big family) This year just 8. cannot wait.

The Tokmak is the best apartments I have been in in Icmeler. Sahra & Mustafa & the bar n pool guys are great. Clean as a whistle (never understood that saying) great sized pool and bar area.

I would say you have choose the best resort in Turkey for your 1st time there...It won't be your last...

You will have a ball...Good luck next season...
