Simon Calder on the Beeb this morning said that no one would get Volcano cover as the other posters have said. If you had existing insurance you could claim but if you haven't you cant.

And i dont imagine they'll build a clause in that you pay extra for like airline failure. Costs will certainly go up. In fact i've just had an amendment to mine and actualy looked for act of god and couldnt see it, but then the writing is that small and not written in plain english.

I've got free tRoyalties travel ins with my bank and as Blondie and Katie both mentioned, I've got the same issue, my daughters now 18 so i dont know whether she'd be covered etc, so thats a phone call to check whats what.

I do worry what the likes of Aegean / Onur air and other low costs airlines do to help people travelling home cant imagine they'll pay for accommodation for people.
