I would get a taxi, it's a good 10 minute walk, plus you will have loads of bags, be sweating cobs and pulling suitcases.

Taxi shouldnt be that much, just a few minutes by car to Ekinci Palace.

More money to fork out :( Now let me think - they are bags on wheels not cases so this will cut it down to 10 mins walk nip into supermarket first 2 cans of efes sunglasses on and ask for directions and off we walk - Probably end up in Marmaries though 2 hours later , Taxi will surfice me thinks Thanks eddie&gwen.

The taxi rank is right outside Tansas so i would stock up and get the taxi. Tansas is the cheapest supermarket and taxi cost us about £3 or £4 i think, we stayed at Ekinci and it was well worth the cost. :D :D

If you don't mind me asking is your transfer with agean as this sounds similar to our daughter's transfer. If so be very careful coming back as they didn't turn up for her and her mates. They pick you up at the tansas again when going home and give you a time. They had to ring 48 hrs before they were due to come home. They were there 45mins before they were due to be picked up and no one turned up. Tried phoning the 24 hr phone number and guess what no answer. It was as well we were there as they had no money and we had to pay for a taxi for them. They only just made check in.

Thanks for that information anyone else heard of this or was this a one off , dont fancy sitting outside a supermarket at 3 am in the Morning for hours The locals will think there is a sale on the folowing day and form a massive Que behind me, blocking the way for a late dash run taxi, thanks again for this information just had to take another worry tablet and i havnt even got there yet

Hi dj, make sure you ask the driver to put the meter on - we've been going to Icmeler for years, but over the last couple of years let's just say the taxi drivers "chanced it"

Hi DJ

Have you thought about doing a transfere with ICR will cost you £100 return for upto 4 people they pick you up at the airport even if your flight is delayed take you straight to your hotel and pick you up for your return from the hotel in plenty of time to get back to the airport no worry about not being picked up and missing your plane and they have an office in the resort incase of any change of plans

It also saves you on time taking approx 1hr 20 mins instead of 2-3hrs with the coach company
If you do a search on here you will find a few threads on the ICR transfere all with great reviews
