Club Petunya and local costs

Postby DavyBee » 23 Apr 2010 23:35

Hello Everybody.

Slight change of plan from my previous posting in that we are now staying at the Club Petunya Apartments. Looks fab, and in a gorgeous setting on the outskirts of town. We're planning on a relaxing rather than a raving holiday as we now have a little boy who will be just 4 when we go, so we need to be able to get away from the music/noise etc. when he's done in. The apartments have got great reviews on Trip Advisor etc., but if anyone has any personal experience/knowledge of the place, I'd be grateful.

Also, what are the costs like these days? Meals/drinks out and self catering shopping costs? Plus where are the best 'supermarkets' for the basics? Always stayed in hotels before, so never really had to know about shopping & stuff. All advice gratefully received...

Happy Holidays!

Pretty long walk into town from club petunya. I stayed up at the grand aquarium which is practically next door and it took us at least 20/25 minutes to walk into the centre :?
