This smell of this stuff makes me feel nautious.

First year we came to Icmeler, I got a bit of sunburn at the same time as getting Gastroenteritis, and some market dweller sold me 5 bottle of the stuff to ease the sunburn. It brought me out in the worst rash I have ever had, which took about 3 months to clear up. The smell now reminds me of that.

So now everytime they guys try to spray me, they just get "that" look, and a very stern but polite "No Thanks"

I react to the lemon stuff too - so I stay well clear.

I've found over the years I rarely get bitten as they spray the streets so frequently - the only times I have been bitten is if I'm anywhere near the canal.

Watch out for the wasps on the beach though, especially in September when they're a bit dopey.
