[quote="Donna"]I have been asked by the lads at the Scotia bar to ask any of you that have visited recently how they can improve the bar or service, what type of music you would like to listen to, any special nights they can put on such as a 60's evening in fancy dress, as its the Scotia Bar what about a kilt night?

Any other suggestions would be great..... just add them to this post and I will pass all comments on to the boys

Hi i think a kilt night would be good... Us ladies all know what they dont wear under their kilts lol !!!
Does anyone know the name of the hotel/appartments that the Soctia Bar is attached to? Thanks x

Must admit when we were there in June/July this year we found the prices very reasonable, place was always clean and they had a great bunch of lads working at it.

I used to walk past this bar a lot last year and I think it's usually not too busy because it's kind of out the way!

I agree with the irn bru ideas and again not too tacky with the tartan and all that but the bar just being like the rest with a few scottish quirks added would be just right. Maybe even play a few scots songs at the end of the night but a danced up version? I've been to loads of parties recently where thats happened and every guest has been up on the dance floor singing to loch lomond dance version including grannies and everything and it puts you on such a high!

I definitley agree with scots football being shown too! We all know when we get together to watch the football we can get really passionate about it!

and the kilts...is a MUST! Would be quite smart to see turks in them...just as long as they didnt wear them with flip flops!

And another one...remember to always have every kind of alcohol in supply and plenty of it...you know what us scots are like! :)
