We were in the Ekinci in 2008 and couldn't wait to get back this year. We enjoyed our stay but found that they had changed for the worse and that the owners were very much on the grab. This included subtle and not too subtle pressure to dine in the Bahama restaurant and to buy tickets for the Turkish night and to attend the pathetic karaoke night. We did neither, but found that the restaurant was excellent, with superb food that was as good as, if not better than the "big" names in the centre and great value for money. The waiters were as good as the food apart from one who became quite aggressive with those who would not commit to the night time entertainment. One refusal from us was enough and he never hassled us again and we can't think why
That is the positive, the negative is the cheapness of the complex, we paid £82.61 for the two weeks, that now attracts a large percentage of single parents who are happy to allow the staff to baby sit or let their older offspring run wild around the pool area and let the staff mop up after them. Wonder how their social workers feel

Notices that state that sun beds can not be be reserved for more than an hour are a waste of time are not applied and we daily witnessed beds with towels vacant for most of the day, obviously with their owners on trips or at the beach
OK we got it was cheap, but when you add being allocated a top floor apartment under the explosive water tank, when you had contacted Mehmet and Osman and requested ground or first floor, you feel that you have a right to a moan. We got a move four days after complaining to a ground floor apartment beside the kitchen. We swapped Hades for Hell and would have been better in Hades. There are other apartments to avoid, especially the ones beside the lane in to the complex where there is a wee yappy dog that barks day and night and caused countless people to move. These apartments are excellent but not the dog
I expect that this post will be pulled, but as Rabbie said"facts are chiels that winna ding", let the truth be told. Sorry, we won't be back, ven at £82.61.
