We're going all-in this year and it works out much cheaper than self catering, its our first time all-in, may change our minds later!

Never been AI before but I have heard that the food is pretty repetative. There are too many wonderful restaurants in Icmeler to go AI in my opinion. Going out to eat at different places is all part of going on holiday!

all inclusive?

Postby juneflo » 06 Jul 2006 01:10

I went all inclusive last year for the first time (anywhere). Whilst the food can be somewhat repetitive I found breakfasts were wonderful and as they say it sets you up for the day. We had 1 litre of water each per day in our room with more in the restaurant which was great and a money saver. Money was also saved on all the soft drinks/alcohol through the day as well as snacks. We ate a few times in the hotel and had several drinks before going out. That was the Park Metropole - renamed the Abacus Metropole and much improved (my uncle was there in June so I visited him there).
Some people don't like the alcohol range or quality in all inclusive but I found the vodka fine!!!! From what I've heard, all inclusive is a great money saver for families with kids given the drinks/snacks through the day. And as many say loads of places to eat/drink in Icmeler so if you save money during the day, more to spend at night!
