Hi, Great pictures. How long did it take you? Husband and I were thinking about doing it but never got around to it. Maybe next time in Icmeler we will get to do it.

Fab pics.............but have NEVER been tempted. Too much like hard work for me i'm afraid.

I bet the feeling of achievement when you get to the top is fantastic though. Well done mate!!

Well done for achieving the climb. I used to watch from my balcony people climbing up to the flag but never had the urge tooooo hot :lol:

it was realy only about 25 mins as we had to walk from our apart ,
but it was still hard .
have cuts on legs to prove it .
back in sept ,
might try again

Wow what a view madmax, they are fantastic photo's! Me and my OH want to walk to the flag this year, where do you go to get started though? Do you start from somewhere by the market area?

From the Celik apartments turn left and walk about 600 yards ,then go through a gate on your right.The trail starts on your left after you have gone through the gate ,you can't miss it unless you are Madmax and Shuggy Bear ,WHO DID !!!!!

The 2 of u will do it no problem ,its not that hard ,REALLY . Its the thought of doing it thats hard,once u start you will be thinking ,what was all the fuss about .One piece of advice take plenty water,i took 3 small bottles of water and drank the lot!!!!

great photos from the flag. a couple of years ago when we stayed at pinewood aparts one of the guests ran, yes ran, up to the flag every morning for the two weeks he was there. even when he'd had a heavy night on the efes (he was Welsh so there was a few of them :wink: ) he was still up there the following morning. obviously off his rocker.
