Hi John Rami Sharron & Donna
Would just like to make you aware of a new Turkish Restaurant that openned a couple of months ago in Widnes Cheshire have left it this long to get some opinions on the place and have only heard good things about it I have let the staff know about your website and hopefully they may be in touch about flights to Turkey and about their Restaurant it is called the EFFES move this to an appropriate place if need be Thanks.

It is on Widnes Road about 150yards up from the Simms Cross pub.

We also have a very good restaurant in Edinburgh called Efes. MMmmmm.

Not to mention the Turkish Kitchen - which is even better, because the owner is a Jambo! :D

Turkish kitchen!! not heard of that one before .....Is it new and where is it blondie.

Been there a wee while now - it's in Rose Street, towards the west end. The guy who runs it is called Shaymus (apparently that's the closest to his Turkish name!) and used to be the chef at another well-known Turkish restaurant in Edinburgh.

Yeah I have to agree with Blondie, I believe that turkish kitchen is meant to be really nice! She goes there quite often and know Shaymus too :)

We also have an Efes Restaurant in Manchester City Centre as well as one called Top Kapi.

we walked past the resturant in widnes on saturday it looked nice going to try it out on special nights they have the belly dances

The Efes in Widnes is a night out in itself downstairs is the restaurant and upstairs is the entertainment room,I have not been myself but pick up passengers from there all the time and have not heard a bad word said about it,also the owners are Turkish.

There is one in Maidstone too, the food just isnt the same though. Its the quality of the potato and rice in Turkey that makes it .

Turkish Kitchen in Edinburgh is yum! Actually been in for lunch today (again), its just behind my work so we go in quite often. The meze are great!

Wish we had a turkish restaurant in Leeds or even a turkish takeaway would do me fine, i am dying for some kofte and a chicken kebab from fast chicken outside pleasure! yum yum

we haven't got a Turkish restaurant here in Ashington but have a fab takeaway kebab and pizza shop called Antep run by two lads from Icmeler. Needless to say everyting from there is lush!!!

John V, they are opened at lunchtime as well. Lunch menu runs till 4pm. As well as the standard lunch-time menu they also offer a 2 course set lunch for £6.95 which gives you a choice of two mezze and a main course.

Hi Guys & Girls,

Anyone flying from Gatwick could try the Marmaris Restaurant in Crawley High Street only two miles from Gatwick, they do a lunch menu from noon till 4pm at £6.50, starters, main, dessert & coffee which is lovely. Tell
Resat (Richard ) or Mehmet Rob sent you! :D
