Just saw on BBC Breakfast News that the Turkish Central Bank has raised interest rates by 2 per cent to try and help the ailing Turkish Lira.
I hope this doesn't mean the rate will start dropping again as I am off to Icmeler next week. Luckily I bought a wedge of Lira last week at a good rate

It might, that's why they put up interest rates to stop it rising
