1st time on the forum,and first time to turkey just wandering if anyone has been to the marmaris park this year if so whats it like and how far from icmeler. 8 weeks on friday can't wait. 8)

marmaris park is on the road from icmeler to marmaris
you will get a dolmus outside your hotel into icmeler or you could just walk its not far
everyone thats been has said its lovely

top hotel was therejune this year that good booked for next year you will have a great time wont for nothing 20 mins to icmeler walk in the evening when cooler to hot in the day got everthing there but got to go to icmeler for some fun enjoy your holiday and tell us when you get what you thought

Thanks to you both for the quick reply. Looking forward to it even more now. We have even been to Tesco's started on the Effes early. Any more tips for travel to Turkey will be appreciated eg what to expect with transfers. And if there is anything to avoid so not to offend the locals.

if your booked on a package holiday and your on a coach for your transfer it will take about 2 hours
there is usually a comfort stop half way through the journey for 15-20 mins
the turkish people dont mind most things as they are very used to having all the british there on holiday so im sure you wont offend anyone

went to marmaris park last year. when we returned to England we rebooked it for this year. If its still as great as it was last year I'll be doing the same.
If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place. If you want a fun filled holiday this is the place. Its brill!!!!
You can get a dolmus outside the hotel for 1 ytl or if you wish you can walk it it only takes about 20 mins. I'm going there in 3 weeks I'll let you know if its still the same when I return.

thanks john look forward to reading your report,have a great time, by the way are there loads of russians in the hotel as we have read reports were they say they are a bit rowdy and rude
