hookah and shisha bars

i set up a topic on this yesterday but not sure were it went, i am just wondering what will happen to the hookah bars will they be shut or placed outside, i was thinking about the smoke from them and it aint alot so they maybe ok

i think theres only a few places where hookah makes up a majority of its sales
one of them been near pleasure
so i cant see other buisness been overly hit

Hi, in Turkey the pipes are Nagiles (pro. nah-gillys), they are Shisha in Iran/Persian tea shops and Hookahs in Egypt.
My understanding is that when the UK brought in the smoking ban nagiles were deemed OK as they do not generally use normal tobacco. However, when Turkey brought in the smoking ban it was ALL smoking which of course meant no nagiles either! Doh!

I seen plenty of people smoking with hookah's last week, they are still in lots of bars and one night we were in Sevgi bar (old famous kitchen) and there was a big table smoking one. I dont know if these are banned but they were most definetely on the go last week!

must admit i did not know what they were i thought maybe it was a bar for grown ups only
