can anyone tell me anything (good or bad) about this place? Have booked 2wks in July for me, hubby and 11yr old daughter on a b&b basis. Have been on many review sites, all very mixed and all quite dated. Where is it? Anyone recommend a map of where it is? I would be very gratefull for the help. Thanks

Hi Bill.
After 18 times you must know the area pretty well. Please tell me more about the swans. I read on one review site that an axe murderer worked there. Any truth in this story?

I have stayed at Swans 1 several times in the past and although basic we had good times there. I think the rumour of axe murderer came about when one of the workers came out with a big knife when there was a lot of trouble there. I would go back there but have to many children now for the size of the rooms.
