Tablet is yummy - if only I could make the stuff, I can see a whole new business opportunity opening up in Icmeler!
The only time I've ever attempted to make it, I had to chuck the pan out - it set like concrete! Luckily I've got a friend who makes lovely tablet! :D

OK, how much tablet is that I need to bring - 1 bar, 2 bars......10 bars?? Remember I only have 20kg weight allowance on the plane! Will definitely bring some along to Vince's on Friday 25th Sept but can't promise I'll have enough for everyone.

Tablet is a traditional Scottish sweet which dates back to the early 18th century.

The texture is hard to describe; I’d say its somewhat like slightly grainy and crumbly fudge with a rich buttery and caramel flavour.

To really understand it you have to try it for yourself :!: :!:

YUM YUM :!:

OK...if someone wants to pay my fare, I'll quite happily sacrifice my luggage allowance and bring across a case full of tablet instead!

Just thought - I could set up my own stall either at the market or on the canal! Blondie's genuine (NOT FAKE!) Scottish tablet! What do you lot reckon?

Not a problem Mary, hope to see you on 9th but we go home on 10th so would imagine 9th will be quite a 'sober' affair
