we are flying out on the 25th, ariving in the early hours of the morning on the 26th,2.45am will any thing be open in the airport for us to buy like a bottle of water,allso as we are ther for 3 weeks we are going to hire a car,and are hopeing to drive down to olue deniz, could any one tell me how far it is from icmeller,and where we can get a map for hubby.he really enjoys reading them and we like to go exploring in the car,we are staying at the iguanna apartments so i know we can hire the car with icr not shure about maps.lots of thanks

Get water airside before you fly, there is a duty free shop in the arravals hall at Dalaman but not sure if you can get water, Dalaman is one of the most expensive airports in the world for normal drinks and food.

I would say it would take 2 hours from Icmeler to Ole Deniz. Not sure about maps but I would image the petrol station in Marmaris will sell them.

Just to warn you petrol is very expensive in Turkey

Maps are available at home before you go at Waterstones or W H Smiths.

Hi

we always hire a car from ICR the car hire office is below your apartments we have always been given a basic map when we have picked the car up but if you want a more detailed map you will need to do as John says and get one over here the ones they sell at the petrol station are the basic ones to

Make sure you have plenty of petrol when your on your travels as petrol stations are hard to come by more so if you venture off the main roads
