My friend sent me a text at 11.20pm but I was asleep, so woke up at 1 am and rang her back and woke her up to get the info, then I sat and watched it on sky news till 4 am
Can't believe it , I wasn't a massive fan but the guy was a hero of mine if that makes sence.
So sad. The autopsy will take place today in LA , so we should know by late tonight what happened

It's so sad about Michael Jackson. Still can't quite believe it.
I'm listening to the radio at work and they are playing his songs, i forgot how many great songs he had.
feel so sorry for his kids.

I watched the Michael Jackson Memorail last night, it was so sad.
I must admit i was crying, especially when Paris went to speak, my heart goes out to those poor kids.
All in all, it was a good send off for the King of Pop.
He will never be forgotten.
Just had to share this with everyone as i can't stop thinking about it today as i sit in work. He touched so many people.

I watched it to, sat there blubbing through most of it, esp when there was an MJ voice over on a song, then Jermaine sang smile and when Paris spoke I was crying buckets
I thought the speakers got a bit political, but all in all the king of pop got a good memorial.
I hope now they let him rest in peace, but he still isn't buried, they named on the death certificate Forest Lawn as a TEMP buriel place, but I think there hanging out to bury him at Neverland which I don't agree with.
Don't like that AEG man, he said today he is going to come up with a way for the "This is it" tour to continue without MJ, YEAH RIGHT.

does anyone know anything about chipped bones? I have one in my ankle and have it strapped up until i got to the fracture clinic next week, do you know what they do with them, i am panicing a bit to soon really as we go to icmeler in september and dont want to be put on a waiting list for ages and then have foot in plaster or something for months

On Tuesday 7th July 2009 we attended the funeral of John Wyatt a REAL HERO
of the second world war.
John's story has been published in his book,NO MERCY FROM THE JAPANESE,
John touched many many lives and helped so many people in numerous ways.
He may not be as famous as the stars of today,but,without him and thousands of hero's like him we would not have the freedom of speech we take for granted.
REST IN PEACE

We haven't even had our Icmeler holiday yet (3rd-11th Sept. Counting the days) but I've just booked online with the Sun for a weekend break to Pontins Brean Sands over hallowe'en weekend. Should be fun.

been to the clinic today, i must admit i would have rather been in turkey when this happened, the service in the hospitals are better in marmaris, anyway i now have 2 chipped bones and damaged tissues (I only had one last week in casualty) I have now got a rooney boot to wear for 4 weeks then go back for a checkup on 24th August, a bit scary really as we only go away 4 weeks after that and might have to take my boot with me

Sorry to hear you have 2 chipped bones now, but I am sure you will be okay by the time you go away. The worst that can happen is you will have to wear your boot 
so you could have a tanned ankles and a white ankle

I did read somewhere that they had to keep theres on for 6 month
bang goes my exit seat on the plane i was going to book, If i have to take it with me i will have to change my whole wardrobe to match my roony boot, maybe they will give me a smaller boot for when i go away, off work for another week anyway

Just been watching a really interesting - and humbling -piece on the BBC News about Henry Allingham, the world's oldest man and one of the few surviving First World War veterans, who has died at 113. What an amazing character - a real gentlemen who made it his mission to keep alive the memory of those who never got the chance to live to a rupe old age. RIP Henry...
