E ticket questions

Postby fatblokecaver » 18 Jul 2009 17:09

Hi all,
We have recieved our e tickets. This is new to me (being an old git) so have a couple of questions.
Where in Gatwick do we pick up out tickets or do we just book in as usual at the check in desk for our flight?
In Dalaman do we do the same?
We have been told that in Dalaman when our friend went to 'book in' with her e ticket she was told it would be £5 for each person, as we have already paid for our tickets this seems to be another Dalaman rip off - best they have a good translator when we return through the airport!!!
Can anyone shed some light on these questions.

Ta muchley

We've always just gone straight to the check-in desk and never had any problems, either in this country or at Dalaman.

After you have downloaded your e-tickets these are used for both the outward and inward journey.
No money should be asked for.

Airport Checking only require the details from your e-ticket,names and serial reference number. I always take an extra couple of copies for spares.

Thanks for your replies - we will book in as usuall.
Seems our friend has been ripped off even though she has a receipt and has been told to claim the money back from T**** C**K.
We have had a similar type of incident many years ago concerning leg room. As we booked in the person said that we had to pay £10 each for leg room seats. I said that I had already paid for them and would he like to get a company rep or his manager to talk to me. Suddenly it was realised that we had already paid - strange that. But I do wonder how many 1st timers or people not paying attention have ben ripped off for te odd £10 here and there. Not me !!!!!!!!!
