Hi Guys
Myself and my husband are off to
icmeler on the 6th July! Although we have been to icmeler many times before we have always stayed at the
Marti Half board! This time we are going self catering! We are going for 14 days and hoping to take £1400, do you think that will be enough??

Myself and my Husband always go self catering and we take £100 per day, this covers all trips, food, drinks and shopping.
This year we didnt do any trips and came home with £200 so I should say its more than enough.
I will say though that we dont hold back and we do like a drink.

Thanks! We won't hold back either, we save all year round for our holiday, so when we are in
icmeler we like to eat well, drink lots, and do plenty of shopping! When did you get back?
Can you recommend any restaurants? And snack bars on the beach for lunch??

I would say that's more than enough. We are going in 10 days and will be taking £800 with us for the two weeks for two people. We're going s/c and will probably have breakfast and most lunches in the apartment but will be eating out and drinking lots in the evenings. We usually bring some back too.
If we were at home we'd never spend that much in two weeks going out for meals every night and the odd bits of food shopping that we will need to buy.
I won't be buying many souveniers this year though, mainly because we've got everything from previous trips to
icmeler but also because of the weight restrictions.

Brighteyes at lunchtime try the Erdam on the sea front.
Inexpensive meals snacks and sweets while looking out to sea.

yeah for 2 people that should be enough
it depends what you want to do
and if you want to go on any trips or not
meals are quite cheap and the cost of living is much cheaper than in the UK
hope this helps

Hello I can strongly recommend eating (at least once) at " Champagne"
not too far from the Dolmus terminus I say as always try the Fried Ice Cream Yummy

I'd definately say that was enough.
For three of us, for eating out, I budget £50 a day - spend no-where near this amount, but best to overestimate I always think

Mary would never have believed you liked a drink lol but we agree £100 per day is normally sufficient

Went for 1st time last year sc, and we spent 2 grand, but there was 2 kids with us...so 1400 should easily be enough, we never scrimped on anything, ate out nearly all the time, and drank way to much, yes by the way I never tried the fried ice cream what the hell is it. Please dont say ice cream fried.
17 Jun 2009 15:49
we spent 850 between 2 of us a few weeks ago

We've just got back and we spent £650 for two adults for 2 weeks, we had a couple of breakfasts out and ate out every night. Drank lots and bought a few bits and pieces, i think it's our cheapest
icmeler holiday yet
