Efendi Hotel

Postby Teddybex » 03 Jul 2009 21:26

We're hoping to book the Efendi Hotel for a week in September as the reviews look really good. The only question I have is does the restaurant where you eat breakfast have an outside seating area? Might sound like a pointless question, but I love eating outside when I'm on holiday!!
Any other hints and tips about the hotel would be great too. Thank you.

Yes it does have outside seating area. We have stayed there several times now in fact had a weed in June. Going back to Icmeler 1st Oct but could not get in so are staying in the Eda (orignally Bellvue). Stayed there about 10 years ago and loved it. Very small and cosy.

Just returned from two weeks at said hotel and had a fantastic stay, you may want to rethink sitting out side thought as it was very hot in the morning and not a lot of shade. Could not fault the hotel in anywa

The Eda is a great hotel - and the family who run it are second to none. Lovely people who will do all they can to make your holiday a success. It's in a great location too - very central, but not at all noisy.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Efendi and had a wonderful time, Will post review soon. You can eat your breakfast outside as there is a vine covered area, but as most people tend to want to sit in the shade you will have no problem finding a spot that lets the sunshine through. The Efendi is a smashing little hotel and the staff are great, most of the staff are new this year but still 1 or 2 old favorites.

I must be honest, it didnt seem quite the same without the old faces, especially Nuri and Sergen. We have known them for so many years but then things never stay the same. However, the new staff are very friendly and obliging. Would give anything to be there right now. :(
