we were supposed to be flying with them in july but now have no clue what we are going to do
we dont know if we will get a refund or if we can still fly
even if we do then how can we get other flights cause our accommodation is booked separately
so annoyed and so sad now :(

Hi Katie

if there are ABTA/ATOL bonded you should be able to get your money back but how long that will take is anybodies guess

Speak to ICR that might be able to help with new flights if your able to book them without waiting for a refund

We are one of the ones who was travelling with Scottravel, we got a phone call at 4.10 this afternoon and were in the travel agents by 4.30, we have had to rebook our holiday but unfortunately we are not going to Icmeler we have had to take a holiday in Marmaris, we travel out next Friday, I suppose we were one of the lucky ones as we had a short time to rebook but I feel sorry for anybody was due to go out later tonight or tomorrow, we will no doubt spend most of the time in Icmeler so hopefully will get to meet some of you. I feel sorry for Scottravel staff.

Now that is a shame for scottravel they were excellent last year when excel went out of business their company director sat up all night to get us all on flights to enable us to still go on holiday maybe this was their downfall in the end

Hi All

just had a thought if you have booked with this company you need to check with the airline you where due to fly with as if they have been paid in full for the flights you might still be able to fly with them
The same goes for the accommodation if they have been paid in full you may be ok
its worth checking :D

Scottravel Holidays

The directors of Scottravel Holidays regretfully announce that as of today Thursday 4th June 2009 an administrator has been appointed and no further bookings are being taken by the company.

The economic downturn has affected the travel industry as a whole and although general performance on Turkish holidays has recently seen an upturn, the combination of current general financial difficulties and previous losses from the failures in the industry made it impossible for Scottravel to survive.

The directors and the administrator are working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority to ensure the repatriation of all passengers in resorts. All passengers who have future bookings with the company are advised to make contact with the CAA in order to claim refund of all monies paid to the company.
