WHOOPPPEEE! NO MORE ICMELER!

17 May 2009 16:47

I was so happy on Friday that I never have to visit Icmeler again I celebrated with bessie mates, a bottle of champagne, bottle of sherry and a plate of curry n chips - classy lot we are!

My gorgeous hubby has his 2yr settlement visa so I wont have to go back to Icmeler end of August to see him (only just back after 2wks with him).

He hates working in Icmeler, says its OK if you're a tourist but not for the workers, this would have been his 7th year there.

But, come Thursday he will be here and we can settle down to a cold, wet married life together, well it is an English summer ... he's looking forwards to rainy England, says dark wet days are romantic!!!!!!!

As for visiting Icmeler again, well OK, I guess we will go back to the place we met one day .... maybe he'll want to smooch with me on the prom again to a romantic song by moonlight ... awww bless ........

Here's wishing you all very happy holidays .......

Carol

Congratulations Carol, you must be so excited at the thought of seeing him every day instead of just holidays. Hope he knows what he has let himself in for with this atrocious weather though
Best wishes to you both for a long and happy marriage in wet old UK and I hope you both have many romantic nights. I am sure it wont take long for you both to have a holiday in our beloved Icmeler

hope you and your hubby have a great life in the uk after awhile you will want to go back just to get a bit of sun but weather man said we are in for a hot summer here but you have your love to keep you warm

Why would you post on an Icmeler site, that you are glad not to be going back?

18 May 2009 14:39

Not the reaction I'd have if I wasn't going back to Icmeler, but you have a very heartwarming reason to be pleased.

Congratulations! I hope the two of you are blissfully happy together and enjoy living in England as man and wife. I hope the weather from Turkey follows you both here, since we could do with a bit of sunshine!!

Congratuations Carol .... With this bloomin weather we keep having in Sheffield, I'd gladly swap it for Icmeler but suppose your right about it being different if I had to work there, it'd probably think differently.

no more icmeler

why would you put a post about not wanting to go back to icmeler as many people check out this site just to figure out if they would like icmeler, and i am speaking to all the icmelites THE PLACE IS PARADISE EVERY TIME YOU GO

20 May 2009 09:09

I agree the title is a bit out of order on an Icmeler holiday company web site, however glad you and your husband are joined together after what must seem a very long time.

Dave.
