Not even a kettle. We had to boil a pan for a cup of tea. There is basic and basic but this place has very little. Had to move the bed to get into the wardrobe. Not my favourite place moved out after one week. Might have changed now, hope so.

Hi Quaker57,
As said in previous post - the Pinewood apts are excellent. No bed moving for wardrobes and yes there was a kettle in our apts but no toaster. 5 minutes walk and your at the bakery - mmmmm - hot fresh bread for breakfast. :D

Our apt was in the block beside the small kiddie pool - maybe the ones further away from the pool, and nearer the gardens, are smaller. There were 4 of us in our apt, the kids had 2 chairs that converted to beds - same as most apt in Icmeler, and we had the double bed in the bedroom. That lasted for one night and then we switched so we could have the balcony after the kids went to bed at night. We found the bed/chairs are fine to sleep on - especially with a few efes's inside you. The bathroom was small but adequite. There is one air con in the main room, not bedroom, which is payable seperately, along with a safety deposit box.

We had a few breakfasts and snacks at the pinewood and occassionally we had main meals. The kids loved the meatballs on the barbeque night and all food was fine and plenty of it.

We were back in Icmeler last year but at the Celik which overlooks the Pinewood. We would not hesitate to go back to the Pinewood if the price was right - unfortunately last year it wasn't.

Back this Aug - other end of icmeler at Ekinci Palace

You'll have a great time at the Pinewood
Cheers John

Yea you will love the pinewood!! And that bakers is YUMMY!!! We stayed facing the pool, and thought the rooms were good size. There was just two of us and we never made it to the bedroom always slept on the sofa chairs things.

The chicken burgers and tuna rolls are lovely!! haha

Our rooms were away from the pool at the bottom end which I think was an extension so they may have been smaller but we really did have to move the bed. It was two years ago when we were there so as I said it must have changed. Sorry to be so negative but it's horses for courses it would not do for us all to like the same place. Everybody is entitled to there own opinion but I would have replied to the first thread but I was elsewhere in Icmeler. I would not worry about anybodies opinions for that reason as we all see things differently. Go enjoy.

No prob Tinkerbelle it's good to hear all sides, everybody has different opinions. John g and Rosie thx i think we will definately be trying the bakers, although we still might take a small toaster with us and leave it there. Looks like i will be sleeping on the sofa beds as well, especially if there is no air con in the bedroom. :)

Definitely different style of apartments as ours did have vey efficient aircon in the bedroom. I did hear that the ones at the top did not.
