Yes, I'd also recommend the Lemon Tree - food is excellent. And whoever mentioned the lamb at the Titanic - it is fantastic, just falls off the bone and melts in the mouth, yum!
But really, as everyone has said, there's so much choice in Icmeler that I'm sure wherever you choose, you won't be disappointed. We've never had a bad meal yet...and we're looking forward to sampling some new places as well as visiting old favourites again in June.

Hi,
I am also going for the first time this year. There will be five of us in total( me, hubby, daughter 18, daughters boyfriend 18 and son 15 )
Out of all the places people have reccomended, do any of them do vegetarian meals :?: ( for daughters boyfriend). Will it be hard finding places to eat :?:
Many thanks. :)

Hi sunnylady - most places do offer a selection of vegetarian dishes, but you'll find that they'll be more than happy to make something else if there's nothing on the menu which appeals.

Hi Theresa,

Welcome to the forum. Eating out in Icmeler is no problem whatsoever. When our daughter used to come with us when she was younger she would only eat chips! The chef in our apart used to start making chips for her 12 o'clock at night if she wanted. They are the kindest people on earth. Nothing is to much trouble for them.

As previously mentioned, the food in Icmeler is excellent. We have been going to Icmeler every year since 1995 and I think it is only one poor meal we have had in all that time. Must be a record! Can't ask for a better recommendation that that! Hope you have a great time and we look forward to your postings when you get back. When are you going?

most restauarants will have vegetarian dishes on their menu and if they dont have something you like they will be more than happy to make something that you suggest to them
i dont see you having any problems finding lots of different foods for him to eat

Hi,
Many thanks for the replies, everyone is so helpful on this site.
We always eat out on an evening, wasn't sure wether we were going to have problems this year with taking daughters boyfriend, but seems like everything will be ok and he doesn't have to eat chips every night.
Looking forward to end of July to go to Icmeler.
Theresa :)

I'm so glad I stumbled accross this site!

Many thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately we're only in Icmeler for a week so won't have time to try them all but you've certainly given me plenty of options! Think I'll make a list and see which ones of the ones recommended take our fancy when we're there.

Thanks again.
