New - Holidaying in Icmeler soon!

Postby Rincewindcl » 01 May 2009 12:58

Hi all,

I stumbled across this site after getting bored at work today! Me and my partner (25yrs and 23yrs old) are going on our first holiday together tomorrow for a week in Icmeler!

We're staying at the Mersoy Bellavista Suites (i'll post a review on my return) and are very much looking forward to a nice relaxing holiday. I'm a little concerned about the weather, but having read the advice about 'looking at the webcam' from other posters I can see the weather is lovely :D

Anyway, just wanted to be polite and introduce myself, and I look forward to sharing my experience of Icmeler with you all on my return 8)

P.S. Can anyone recommend a romantic restaurant?

There are loads of lovely restaurants in Icmeler - you'll be spoiled for choice, to be honest! The Love Boat is very nice, or if you're looking for really authentic Turkish food in an equally authentic setting, the Kerem on the canal is very very good indeed. Try searching on the forum - you'll find plenty of suggestions for almost every type of cuisine you can think of.

Hello Reesy, thanks for the welcome!

Me and my Mrs are off to Icmeler tomorrow, catching the 3pm flight. I'm guessing the transfer via T****** will take a good 2-3 hours :(

I'm guessing you are a regular traveller then? :D

Only 1 hour of my working day left before im off home to watch Bev pack (there's no way in hell that she'd let me do it!) and get some kip before heading off to Gatwick tomorrow morning!

welcome, and beware, Icmeler is addictive, :D as you can probably tell from reading this forum. It's a lovely place, I'm sure you'll have a lovely time. Cupids is a nice restaurant to try aswell, however you'll be spoilt for choice and I'm sure you'll discover your own favourites.

The Mersoy is beautiful, I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay there! The pool area, in particular is gorgeous!

We just got back on Monday and would suggest packing a couple of warmer clothes for the evenings, but the days are lovely when you're in the sunshine. Perfect beer weather!

Have a wonderful time, I'm sure that goes without saying!

P.S Fingers crossed that you get lucky with the transfers and don't spend too long on the coach!

Welcome to the Forum. You will love Icmeler, for a nice romantic meal I recomend the Love Boar or Waterfall where there is a lovely waterfall with geese and ducks in it.

You will find plenty to do there.
