Ekinci Palace Apartments

Postby Mulley » 24 Apr 2009 11:36

Hi all,

We usually stay in the Golmar being right on the beach but due to "credit crunch" etc. have opted for the Ekinci Palace being that they are a lot lot cheaper. Apparently they are near the Old Town. Has anyone stayed there and is it very far to walk to say, the Venice or the beach come to that.

thanks.

Jane.

Jane
Our friends stayed here last year and we called round to see them, we were staying over the road from them at Rhodes. The rooms were basic but clean and our friends had a nice balcony with nice views. The pool is big and plenty of sunbeds and our friends said the staff were brilliant.
The walk into town takes about 10 minutes at a stroll, a little bit longer to the canal but what's the rush, you're on holiday !! I'm sure you'll have a great time at Ekinci, enjoy your hols !!

You'll love the early morning call from the mosque that's only 300 metres away. We arrived at the Ekinci around 4.00am last year and just got our eyes shut when the early morning call to prayer started. It was quite a shock :!:

I think that was the only morning that we heard it and we now believe that Efes makes you deaf

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ekinci Palace, the apartment was comfortable, spotless, well maintained, the staff were excellent and it is handy for the old village, valley and the main resort. Roll on September when we return.

Enjoy.

Hi Karen,

Sounds like there could be a very good party at the Ekinci. We are there from 14th until 27th September.

I must bring my bagpipes for the celebrations :D
