Well done Jozzyd. My hubby has also given them up 3 weeks today. He works for a tobacco company so I know it has been a really struggle for him,but I am so proud of him.

Well done to Mr Ochlynda, I will never put another to my lips as it is not easy to stop a 30 year habit. Hope your hubby can stay off the weed too i am 4 weeks and 4 days and could really smoke one right now. Am glad i smoked menthol because no-one else smokes them so i never want their ciggies :D

Just want to share something with you all...I cannot swim and last year my husband was tring to teach me to swim at our hotel but I was terrified. Last night I went to our local swimming pool with my mum and although very, very nervous to start with, I managed to swim!!! I'm so proud of myself and grateful to my mum for being so patient with me. So now when I come to Icmeler this summer (15wks tomorrow) I will never be out the pool! :D :D :D
Anyway, just wanted to share my joy with you all, roll on Thursday night so I can go back :D

well done its a great feeling when you learn i went to free lessons 2 years ago i still dont like to go near the deep end but its great to be able to swim

blondie2211 - i can't swin either!! I am absolutely terrified of the water, but would love to be comfortable enough to go in the pool when i'm on holiday. Well done for facing your fear :P

Thanks for the lovely comments. I was pertirfied last year - as I have been since age of 9 when I fell in the sea in my home town off the prom! But I was so hot last year I had to cool down, hence going in the pool and it all happened quite by accident. So this year I am determined that I will be in that pool everyday and swimming!

Have the confidence in yourselves, if I can do it, anyone can. Good luck and let me know if you take the plunge :)

aw, well done Blondie - it'll make all the difference to your holiday
into the sea off the prom sounds like a nightmare, you're soooo brave!

I'm officially the slowest swimmer in the world according to OH and kids, and trying to get on a lilo is another story - am totally useless and it's a real team effort hehehe

Can't say I like the water at all (don't even get my face wet in the shower!!) but with the summer temps, I don't have much choice so I go for it - with lots of help from those sausage things

fanny i give up those lilos are a pain hubby was in the pool with me i still could not get on he was laughing to much to help am not trying again :D
