Hand Luggage allowance

Postby Eatock08 » 04 Mar 2009 22:38

I'm full of questions this week lol

What are the restrictions this year on hand luggage, is it just one bag or can you have one bad and your handbag??

Would you feel safe leaving your laptop in a hotel room whilst in Icmeler?

and finally does anyone know the luggage allowance with Monach? says 20kg on internet but not sure if its up to date??  :D :?: :!:

   what are you like?!

1) will let you know when I get back from Egypt in a few weeks - am planning on it being one only though
2) no chance , even if I had one i'd not be taking it on holiday anyway. if you are, I'd suggest leaving it with reception or better still checking with iCR to see if they offer safe storage
3) not a clue, maybe you could email Monarch directly as sometimes allowances depend on when the flight was booked

next question please ha ha .................

My son is booked on a Monarch flight but through that other travel agent we don't like to talk about, and the allowance is 15kg with the option to pay extra to up it to 20kg

Hiya
When i went to Adana from Manchester i had my handbag and a holdall.
I was asked to put my handbag inside the holdall whilst going through security,as only one bag allowed! Dont really see what difference it made :?

HI Sue /Colette

Ive one at home who insists on taking a handbag or four !! on holiday to Turkey.
There are thousands of the bloody things in Icmeler alone, are you not missing out on an excuse to do more "bag shopping", Im sure it was mentioned on a previous post how you women are hooked on this strange ritual
"Look for a Bag Syndrome"

PS
Seen in a shoeshop window last week-end, large sign saying
"TWO for the price of ONE"

wise move jozzyd, I always end up with everybody elses stuff in mine!

I don't know Peli, where would you men be without our handbags? where else would all your man stuff go?, keys, wallets, camera, drinks bottles from airport, books purchased at airport ,leftover sweets, crisps, butties?, ( oops I've moved on to kids stuff which also ends up in our bags,)

I start off my journey with passports, tickets and money, (and limited make up ) end up with so much in it I just "HAVE" to buy a new one when I get to Icmeler.

Going with girlfriends in May though so I will put everything in holdall, I'm using my 5kg hand luggage allowance for shoes( We're as bad for them Peli, ) since I've only got 15kg hold allowance

John.
Never lend your clothes and shoes out because you never get them back.
Everything should be colour co-ordinated so pink handbag goes with pink shoes and pink bobble in your hair and of course wearing the obligortory black fishnets  sets off the all round appearence.

Hi Elaine, thank goodness it's not just me, :D and looking at some of the above posts, I think it could be a trend in icmeler this year, pink definately seems to be the favourite colour!
