Manchester airport is trialling vending machines in Terminal 1 for 3 months, if succesful then will be rolled out in all 3 terminals. You will no longer be provided with free plastic bags to put your liquids in when going through security, you will have to purchase them from a vending machine they cost £1 for 2. I know it's only £1 but why should they be allowed to cash in on something that is supposed to be in place to protect us, apparently the civil aviation authority are very disapointed at Manchester Airport doing this but are powerless to stop them.

What next they'll be installing turnstyles on the toilets to make us pay.

Liverpool Airport has been charging 50p a bag since the rules changed on liquids.

Yeah it mentioned that in the article I read, but it's still wrong if you ask me.

What about Ryanair considering chargeing you a pound for a c--p on the plane

The bossman said in an interview that to recoup money for their cheap deals they are thinking of putting £1 a time locks on the toilet doors of their aircraft

It's all getting really silly the things they are trying to charge for.

I think if it ever did come, the answer would be that when the initial first user has been then another person goes in immeadiatly after them, and then someone else etc. this would then develop into a continuous flow[excuse the pun] of people, unless interupted by the seatbelt sign.

I think that this would pee [pun again] the cabin crew off big style.
Indeed some of the flights Ive been on there has been a continuous queue of weak bladders or five pinters, throughout the whole flight.

It's quiet in here at the moment!
So, to break the silence...has anyone got any holiday bargains so far? I'm doing rather well this year so far, I never usually start this early but it's proving to be a good idea!

Going to Primark next Friday for a 'holiday' shop, don't really need anything but sure I'll be buying, will let you all know what bargains I get.

Bought a pair of new cream linen M&S trousers off ebay (tags still attached) and only paid £2.99, I was well pleased.

We had a bit of a do here yesterday...We have a farm, and our son and his mate had a day off work and decided to go on the quad on the track we have made,I didnt know they had gone up to the field!!anyway i hears a helicopter very big and louder than the usual police ones that fly over and go outside and seen a very large yellow one hovering over and landing just over the trees thinking mmm something going on over there, not giving it a thought went back inside, one and a half hours later my son came in distraught, the helicopter was air ambulance!!,his mate had come off the quad head first over a large hill !!anyway the out come is hes ok,had xrays nothing broken, but today they took scans and his shoulder is out of place,so a bit of gas and air, they put it back in,hes in lots of pain, excessive internal bruising, hopefully he will be out of hospital tomorrow.I texted him tonight to ask if he was going on the quad bikes in Turkey again this year,he said I think not.So the moral of all this is think twice before you go on the quads this year, double make sure your insurance covers this sport, when they went on the quads last year their insurance didnt cover quads, they took a chance!!!!.

Hi Chris, your Son must have had a terrible shock at seeing his mate have the accident, thankfully all is okay with him and his pain will ease soon.
