Your first day??

because we usually have night flights and arrive early in the morning like 4am or something stupid like that we just normally go to bed for a few hours and then wake up, grab a bikini and go down for a nice turkish breakfast at the pool bar
then i normally go out and see all my friends

Like many have said - it's a night flight for us this time.

Arrive at the apartments, get the boys to bed for a few hours, as a night worker i'll be in night shift mode, so i think a little Duty free and small cigar on the balcony to welcome myself back again will be in order

Then the obligatory shave - as i dont shave a few days before i go (work permitting), that way i get the benefit of the first shave...

All going well we should arrive at our apts about 9pm. We'll unpack have a quick shower and then out we go saying we're just going to have a quick bite to eat and an Efes. But before you can stick to your plan you arrive at the Three Bells and meet people and you somehow forget you were having an early night.

we arrive at 5 in the morning.i do the sensible thing and go for a kip.My good lady will unpack both cases,place the toiletries just so in the bathroom, choose a swimsuit and matching outfit for me and only then will she sit out on the veranda and chill with the beautiful Icmeler sunrise.

You're spoilt David, I make my OH empty one of the suitcases so that I don't spend my holiday replying to his question 'where did you put.....'. Then we both sit out on the balcony with an Efes and watch Icmeler awake - we arrive around 6am.

Our flight doesn't get in till 1:35am,then the journey to the apartment will take about an hour or so, i expect we will be ready for a sleep but as it is our first time in Icmeler i doubt i will sleep for long. The first port of call will be for breakfast, kids will be ready for something to eat, then they will want a few hrs in the pool,then explore the area before going out for a nice meal and some fab entertainment. We have read so much about Icmeler and are so looking foreward to it, just 16 weeks this thursday.

We ususally arrive early hours of the morning, so it is usually beginning to get light as we arrive, to that glorious view coming round the bay, which really signals that we are home again. Bliss

We usually arrive around 5am so while i unpack paul takes him self off to local mini market to buy water and a few effes and when he gets back its down to pool bar for coffee and chill out, home once again.

Midnight arrival at Dalaman this month, so will most likely be going to bed for a few hours once we get booked into the apartments.

First full day will probably involve a few hours getting my bearings again, and a trip to the bank to draw out to spending money!

A good shave will also be on the agenda on day 1 me thinks

Aw Karen, I remember that feeling so well. After spending time on here and having friends raving about the place, we felt like we knew it already.

Am sure you won't be disappointed and that it will be the start of the addiction all of us on here share.

If you're not too tired, try and be up for sunrise (you and OH, not the kids hehehe) - the heat of the sun starting a new day is indescribable!!!

well if our flights are anything like they were last year we didn't get to the apts until just before 6,big mistake i made last year was to walk into town at that time just for the giggles,haha and no where was open except for the little shops so i could grab a snack,so had to go back to the apartments for a few hours .then it was time for the basic shop then a lounge by the pool.first meal will probably be at the florida that evening then probably hit eastenders or pleasure later on.gonna have to take some of my own mixes this year..last years werent the best

Im used to being up early for work and i am always the first up even on holiday so i will do like you say Fanny, sit and watch the sunrise,im sure it is a fantastic sight.
After reading all the reviews about Icmeler we have decided already that we will be back again next year,for 3 weeks next time though.
15 weeks on thursday,we cant wait

Well I think the plan when we arrive about 10ish at night is to re-apply the make up, fix the hair then straight out to red lion and lemon tree to see old friends followed by pleasure and eastenders

we normally land in dalaman at 2ish so we arrive at icmeler at about 4
this is bad because i like my sleep
after unpacking we have a quick kip and then have brekkie and explore the town and say hello to old friends
this year though because of the flight changes everything has gone pear shaped
