Tattoos in Icmeler.

Has anyone here had a tattoo in Icmeler?
Or can anyone recommend anyone in particular?
I'm thinking of having one done as it's alot cheaper, but am concerned that they won't understand exactly what I want, though I don't want to seem stupidly fussy, even if I am haha!

hi jools,
iv'e had 2 tattoos done in icmeler sohas the wife , we had them done at the underground market , there's two places in there ,the one we use is at the bottom of the steps to the left of the chinese restaurant, there's a couple that run it and their excellant , if you can't see what you want in the books they will look onlie for you or if you have a picture or shirt with the design you want they'll scan it and get it to the size you want

me and my hubby got one each from sun at the square on the way too the beach just passed the taj mahal
he got a big scotland and lion flag on his arm 140 lira
i got a love heart the size of an orange 50 lira
he did make a mistake on my hubbys tatoo but it was more our fault than his put the lion back to front
mines lovely even my old mum likes it no its not faded and its 3 years old

I went to have one round the corner off tansas, but i didnt get it in the end because the girl that does them cant talk a word off english and trying to explain to her what i wanted so wernt happening!! so just left it. lol

Yeah i had one done in May in the underground market too.
My friend also had one done at the one upstairs on the corner-Mummys i think its called.
Best way is to ask around at a few for prices,as they all say different.

remember you should keep tattoo out of the sun for 6 weeks which be impossible in icmeler !

I had one done in Icmeler July 07 day before i went home, Got it on my foot but when i got home the tattoo started coming away so had to get it re-done, It wasnt that the place was bad or anything I just dont think they had the best ink

Take it from me that 99% of tattooists in Icmeler are rubbish artists and use cheap turkish or korean ink. Some may be cheap but you only get what you pay for. I have had 3 done so far, the largest last August when i had a massive viking done on my leg that took 4 hours.
I would go nowhere but Harry's biker store which is the far end of the underground market, they are not the cheapest but the ink is imported from Manchester and they speak fantastic english.
The worst is in the canal market and the one on the main road near Waterfall restaurant - i saw their work and it is terrible, one girl had a dragon done which looked like a snake.
If you want photos of the ones i have then i will post them, this is the one i had done 2 years ago 'Neptune'

Erik, your tattoo is gorgeous! How much did you pay for it?? When you say the end of the market, i can't figure it out because depending on which way you enter the end could be at what I consider the beginning LOL. how confusing!!
The one you're talking about, is it near the Kingsland chinese entrance to the market? If so, that was who I was considering...
I don't know if you would know this or not, but I want to get a branch of cherry blossoms on my thigh. However, I don't want the usual cartoony type japanese ones, I'd like them to look real. Reckon they would understand what I mean? I hope they are open in April for me to ask!!

The one i mean is the opposite end away from the kingsland, its called harrys biker store and run by a lovely young girl who is a fantastic artist. the neptune tattoo was 60 quid, cheaper than uk.
the tattoo shop you mean is also ok, but i like harrys! if you find a picture of what you want and give it to her, in a couple of days she will scan and draw it so you can see what it looks like.

My fiance and i also had tattoos done at the tatto shop near the waterfall restaurant and both have had to be done, i would not recommend this place at all!

Her mom works in the shop for her too, and I believe her dad has a tattoo shop also, in the lobbey of the hotel beside the underground (think its Letaria now (it changes its name all of the time). Gumzay is a good friend of mine and she done my last tattoo about two years ago aswell as my husbands tattoo...

That the girl, i couldnt think of her name! her mum does work for her but her dad has left the Letaria and has a tattoo shop in a massive hotel in Marmaris. The scatty brother now runs the one in Letaria with her cousin. I have not seen his work but all my tattoos are on his wall!
Gumzay is fantastic, tattoo of a massive japanese koi 5pm on 29th august for me!

Both hubby and i had our tatoos done by Gamze in the underground market and they are fine.
I already had my hubbys initials on my arm so decided to have the date of our wedding underneath and then my initials, (so he wont forget our annivversary lol) she also redid the ink on his initials and updated my dolphin tatoo for £30. Hubby had a big cover up on his arm and it was £80. Back here you are talking nearly double the price.
We have had no probs with the tatoos, she was recommended by Gino at Wonderboys.
Will be getting another one done when we go back and also have the one on my back redone as it is faded, you will have now worries if you go to her.
