Eden Apartments, Icmeler

Postby JaxPat » 15 Jan 2009 13:47

Hi

My fiance and I are first timers to Icmeler this year and staying at the Eden Apartments. Just booked this week and can't wait to go (September). 35 weeks and counting. From the forum etc its sounds great.

If anyone has any advice re the apartments I would much appreciate it. Would also like to do a couple of trips, should I book before I go or wait until I arrive? Also can anyone recommend how much spending money you would approximately need for 2 weeks for 2 people who basically enjoy eating and drinking.

Thanks.

I have not stayed at these apartments but there will be reiews almost certainly on www.holidaytruths.co.uk

Based on last years prices, it really depends on how much and what you drink. Typically beer was around 3 to 5 lira, local spirits and mixer anything between 6and 10 lira, cocktails anything from 6 and 12 lira. Some places will give you BOGOF

Foodwise, we normally buy corn flakes and milk from the supermarket for breakfast. At luch a snack and drink will be about 10 and 20 lira, for 2
Evening meal, starter, and main course and a couple of drinks each typically anything between 45 and 70 lira for 2

We normally budget for about £70 per day. I take a debit card just in case I need to spend anymore

Good trips to try are jeep safari about 25 lira each or the boat trips, with lunch and drinks again about 25 lira each. There are plenty of places to book them once you get to the resort

Have a look through the posts on here and this will give you an idea of good places to eat, things to do

Enjoy

My friend and I give ourselves £250 per week usually. This allows us to eat out at lunch and dinner and stay out til the wee hours every night with plenty to drink and sometimes a kebab on the way home too ;)

We find that between 10pm-12am lots of bars do BOGOF offers on their drinks, so stock up then and you're laughing!

Eden Garden apartments

Postby Narky marky » 16 Jan 2009 18:49

Hi Jaxpat.

We will be returning to Eden garden apartments for our sixth year in August.
Since our first year we have become good friends with all the staff and a large number of guests who return year after year.
Try holidays uncovered and read a few reviews and you will see why this family run Oasis is ranked 2nd out of 141 hotel/apartments in Icmeler.
You can not book these Apartments with ICR so if you need any more info feel free to pm me.
