topic locking

i visit many forums and i am a moderator on some but i have never seen as many topics locked as on here .

I think this is a really well managed site.  I read quite a lot of forums and some just end up with people posting any old rubbish, it can be impossible to read some as its often text talk (maybe its my age!).  I rarely visit icmeler, but love turkey , but I still visit this site almost daily, just because it seems a bit more 'grown up' somehow.
