Going to the Devamli hotel on 24th July. Their web site photos look great. Hope it's as good as it looks. Anyone been?

Is the Devamli over the sports bar?

The only thing that puts me off is the noise from the road :?

Then after a few Efes you might not notice it :D

Do they have rooms on the back as well ?

Colette. As far as I know the Devamli is over the Sports Bar and the Love Boat Restaurant. I've heard that when you're staying in the hotel you can have a 10% discount off meals. Not sure if there are rooms at the back. Lynn m might be able to let us know when she gets back.

Stayed at the Devamli last October - what a lovely hotel. Staff were brilliant and the Sports Bar underneath the hotel had some great lads working there too.
The Love Boat wher you go for breakfast and evening meal was fantastic the food was the best - stayed in Icmeler about six times but had never eaten there before - my oh my - how I missed out.
In october it was lovely and quiet but I dare say that it will be very busy in July - hope you have a great time

We stayed at the Devamli last year, it was great, the hotel is over the Sports Bar, and no you cannot hear the road and yes there are rooms at the back of the hotel, we stayed in room 211 over looking the pool it is a marvellous room.

Hope you have a great time, I know you will like the hotel.

We stayed at the Devamli last year one lot had a room at the front facing the road and one lot had a room at the back overlooking the jacuzzi. Highly recommend this hotel so much so we are going back this year.

Just back from Devamli on Saturday I thought is was a very nice hotel
The only problem we had was with the noise from the passing traffic which took a bit getting used to along with the mossie men using what sounded like hand held motorbikes to spray the area at six in the morning.
I would request at the back of the hotel if I went back there.

Our room had a double bed (very comfortable) and a single one this made the room a bit cramped at times but the single bed made a good wardrobe as we were to lazy to hang things up.

The guys in the sports bar are the same as last year, Speedy, Ferdie, Ferit and Mustaffa all really nice. I dont know about waiters in Loveboat not a restaurant I went into before this year. You get 10% discount at both places but I think the drinks are a bit more expensive to compensate for it.

I would definitely use this hotel again.

I have put a hotel review on HT

Thanks Lynn m. Read your report on HT. I think the road will be even busier at the end of July so let's hope we get rooms at the back.

Shastie

In July the air con will be on and you will be able to close the windows, dont know if this would help keep noise down.

devamli hotel

Postby ianwesty » 08 Jun 2006 16:57

Stayed here the first time we came to Icmeler 9years ago.( been backto icmeler ever since!!)
Ofook and Rabia who run the hotel are excellent hosts, nothing too much trouble for them,The rooms are adequate and are both at the road side or they have a quieter side opposite.
The stairs to the reception are quite steep( the reason we couldn't go back with young kids) but overall its excellent.
The loveboat is superbly themed as you'll find out and the food fits its surroundings perfectly, excellent.
Safe boxes behind reception, billiard table and of course the Sports bar ( had some lively evenings in there)
Other than that marvellous!!!! and right near to the canal and its many stalls,oh and 5 mins from the beach,Enjoy your holiday
