Onur Air

Postby KerryM » 25 Sep 2008 18:39

Just booked to fly out from Manchester on June 8th 2009, never flown with them before and a bit worried as have heard bad reports, seems they have a habit of changing flight dates???

The entertainment wouldn't bother me as it's very rarely anything worth watching on those small screens.

I flew with Onur in July and was an OKay flight. Yeah there isnt any entertainment or anything but I just thought atleast its getting me to Icmeler ha ha.
Also the sandwiches were about £5 each so take your own snacks if I was you

kerry
Ive mentioned the flight change on previous topic "Onur380/379", as far as I am aware as no one has come back on this, then I must be the only one.
As far as I can see they are as reliable as any other airline at this volatile time If its any consolation Ive booked three separate flights useing them in 2009,
They are as far as I am aware 100% Turkish owned, so as you have to take a chance, I think they are a safer bet than any Uk operators
As to who your tour operator is we can only guess again! what will happen, becouse it is them that charter the Onur flight.
If anything did happen, I dont think it will be Onurs fault,
Because as with us, it was "Aegean/h4u", who messed us about,- not Onur.

Flew with them in August, and booked again with them for next year. No problems apart from an hour delay going out. Plane was clean, with more leg room than UK charter planes, and,.......you can have your first Efes of the hoiday on board. :D

Flew with them again in August, absolutely fine,no delays, nice staff, clean and good selection of duty free, only thing i'd say was the prices for soft drinks etc were expensive, but my flights were so cheap so i guess they have to make money somehow!

We flew with them in June this year and yes our flight times were brought forward 24 hours and we were delayed 8 1/2 hours on our return journey but we were suposed to fly at 7-30 on the friday night and it was friday the 13th. We have flew with them on other occasions and had no bother very basic but you get what you pay for budget airline. Oh and we are flying with them next week when we go to Turgutres.

Been with Onur a few times, no problem at all. However, we did have two and half hours delay in Dalaman on the 380/379 back to Manchester (technical problems so they say) at the end of August this year, but you soon forget once you get on the plane. Their flights had gone up for next year, so we are now booked with another company for August next year.

We have used Onur Air 4 times. Most we had was 1 hour delay. I would certainly use them again.

Hi Nik

try googling for "aegean flights" and that should bring up the UK site

or

why not ring ICR as they sell those flights at the same prices you see on the aegean website
