Where does this road take you?

As you walk past Denis Kapisi and Harmony bar, where does this road take you to?

I have never ventured any further than the Harmony Bar.

It goes up past the Golmar Hotel leading to the half built hotel that you can see when you take a boat trip we tried to drive up there a couple of years ago with a Turkish friend we got quarter of a mile up from the Golmar and were turned back by security they said we could not go any further

There's an army base or something past the security post. We've often walked up there as we usually stay at the Golmar, and go right to the security post, the view from there is breathtaking. When we're sitting on our balcony we see dolmuses going up there and have watched and they don't seem to come back down, perhaps they get through security I'm not sure.

Up to reicently I think it was a private holiday camp for the Turkish people, butlins style??, Although I might be wrong but there were holiday type people in there up to a couple of years ago
As Steve says though its mainly the access road to the "Big White Elliphant" around the headland

Yes the holiday camp is empty, but you've always been able to walk on past that, its further on there is the security post and a road goes off to the right just a bit further on, its up there looks like barracks or something.

If you do Mary it will be ghosts because its deserted. In fact one of the apartment blocks has no roof on it! If you go along there, when you pass the Golmar tell the barman Ali that Greg and Dot were asking for him and all the waiters too.

Mary, we came off the Turunc boat taxi and the buildings were bliss, although they were empty, it meant we could shelter from the heat, we then called in Havana bar for a couple of beers and a couple of ice creams for the kids before getting a taxi back to the apartments.

while on the beach beside denzi kapsi this guy was saying that there is a prison round there how true this is i dont know i have been going 14 year now and i thought it was just a hotel that was not finished

Yes Mary just keep walking along past Deniz Kapisi, Harmony, Golmar then you'll see the marina. the road kinda runs behind the marina. The road is reached by turning right after the Dragon fish restaurant (just after Golmar), the just keep walking till you come to the security post.
