Just checked the 15day weather forecast and it is only the Sat Sun Monday poor weather from the 23rd Sept onwards it says its 26 deg

We were in Marmaris in Oct 2006 and we we up to our knee's in water but it was the best holiday we had dont let the weather put you off :D

Even last Oct it rained the thunder storms were fantastic to watch but we woke the next day and it was great lovely sunshine.

The only time i was scared  was in Oct 2005 we were down the Marmaris Bazzar all the lights went out it was pitch black couldnt see a thing then we found our way out everything outside was in the dark we did manage to get a dolmus it was terrental rain i had shorts and vest on soaked through

We got just past the Gima Centre and the water was rising it was coming in the doors on the dolmus we had to get out and walk to our hotel which took us over a hour

I could off cried its funny now when i look back on it but wasnt at the time we were liked drowned rats we got to our hotel to find all the reception area flooded but once again we enjoyed our holiday :D

So i know this sounds sad but im looking forward to the rain and thunder storms caused its all part off a good holiday in Turkey :D
