I'll have Christmas off but like you Reesy will be working night shift over the New Year. A touch unfair having to work both.

23-26 I am working, then 4 off, then working 31-3. At least we can keep each other company at New Year on the ICR forum

thats so unfair reesy and lynda. My staff have a choice, if they work christmas day they get boxing day off and if they work new years eve, they get new years day off, Same with night duty. obviously if too many request boxing day off then names go into hat or we look back at last years rota. Mucks up the rota for a week or so and there will still be a few moans and groans, but rarely do i get anyone phoning in sick!

I did consider booking to go to Marmaris/Icmeler over the christmas and New Year period It would be great if you could let us know about places that were open, weather etc....when you get back. Whatever, I'm sure you'll have a much better time than you would here :D

Being Scottish I would love to have New Years Eve off work, which I might be able to do, but I will find out nearer the time.

Wendy, even though the weather might not be too hot, and not everywhere open, I would imagine it would be lovely to be in Icmeler/Marmaris over Xmas and New Year.
