When we went back to a diff check in desk we only weighed 34kg!!! We were so miffed as it was obvious that the original scales were wrong but when we pointed it out they got so angry and said if we didnt check in quietly we wouldn't be allowed on the flight!! As a former rep I know shouting doesn't get you anywhere so although we were making our point we weren't being noisy or aggressive or anything just think we touched a sore point! We did put a complaint in to the customr services desk but not heard anything since! I think its all a bit dodgy and just a way for ATM (the airport owners) and the airlines to make a quick buck!

June I came back to Bodrum and I was 17kg's over weight,,, yes 17,, NO CHARGE,, I was with my daughter and small grandaughter and we flew with T.C. Then in July when I came back to Bodrum with Aegean I was 11k's over again I was not charged a penny. I think I have moved all I need over here now. Initailly when I was moving here I was sending things and booking extra luggage weight and paying a bomb. So I think this has balanced it out nicely.
