grrrrr seems that half of
ICR have been buying up the orange magicool from our local Tescos
did a grand tour of them today while OH was having his "getting in the hol mood beers" and saying bye to all in our local, all I could find was one blue magicool and empty shelves where the orange PH ones should've been
so to any of you lucky folk who managed to get some and are in
Icmeler for the next 16 days, would you mind please letting me have a squirt!?!?!

Br careful Sue what you saw in B&M is an imitation of Magicool not the real thing not surprising it sells for 99 pence. It probably contains stagnant water or something

it could not have been a fake though it was the same bottle as the other ones I have seen
03 Aug 2008 23:14
Next time you are in B&M have another look, it may be blue

but trust me it is not Magicool, it is a cheap, poor quality copy.

it was definately the right bottle they also had it in savers for 99p also

Hi Sue,
I know the one you are talking about, it is a bit confusing as it looks like Magicool, It is called Cooling Mist by Beauty Formulas. It certainly does not cool at all as it contains warm stagnant water. I bought it once aby mistake nd went back to return it the next day. 99p for stagnant warm seems expensive I could get fresh cooler water from the tap at 0.001 pence when you think about it.
Have a good look love next time you are in th shop.

no problem next time i go in Savers I will have a look in there but i need the prickly heat one

I haven't seen the magicool Plus Prickly Heat in Savers or B&M. I think the best deal you can get is from Superdrug where they sell 3 for 2.

Hi everyone, my daughter and I both got the injection for our prickly heat - fantastic, what results, the effects should last for a year. They cost £12 each, best £24 spent. good job we love
Icmeler as I will be getting this every year from now on - no more suffering :

Jan - where did you get the injection? I'd certainly be interested if either myself or my daughter get prickly heat badly again.

Ive just got back (this morning) and a lady at the pool had bad Prickly heat. I told her to go to the chemist near the Tansas to get the injection (as Id remembered on here) but when she got there they told her they werent allowed to do the injection any more and that she would have to see a doctor. She went to a medical centre and they charged her 120 lira which is about £70!!!. I dont know if this is the case with all the chemists over there but it does seem they are getting strict with this sort of thing and have bumped up charges for everything this year. I would ask around before paying a lot of money. This poor woman wasnt told how much the injection would be until she had had it!!!

Well my husband has been having this injection for the last 4 years, and if thats the case a doctor has to administer surely you can claim of your holiday insurance?
