Help on returning goods

Postby Hammo11 » 02 Aug 2008 18:57

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Icmeler.
I purchased an engagment ring from Arica Jewellery after the seller gave his word that the ring was Clarity VVS1 and colour G
Ive had it valued on my return and it is in fact a SI colour J.

The valuation is more than I paid but I am unhappy with the lies and would like to return the ring so I can get one of better quality from somewhere else.

Can anyone advise on the returns proceedure and if it is possible for me to do this?

Ive emailed the jeweller but im not expecting a speedy response!

Thanks for any advice anyone can give!

If possible could someone advise me my pal paid £20 for a fake channel watch and the face is about a millicentmeter out so its not really saying the correct time
i dont want to take it take and just rather get her a diffrent watch and say there you go
But she very just take it back because I spent loads there ps ive no idea where she bought it from just some really flimsy directions
I think shes under the impression I gave her a braclet to get fixed and the name of the jewlers and he fixed it no problem and no charge
Its going to be that simple
thanks

I have also used Yasmin past two years and no problem at all. If there is a problem with Yasmin can you please let me know, as I intend to buy a necklace this year at end of August.

I dont have so good memories about those jewellery shops..

I bought engagement rings last year cause i lost my first one (very bad me.. ) and i wanted a very basic rings; thin gold ones..
It was so hard to find. But after all, i found from jewellery store which on main street, more old village said.. I cant remember the name..

Anyway, there was only one ring and i wanted 2, for me and my husband. That we have same of course. Man said its not problem, he can make another one.

It wasnt so expensive and we got the rings.

But after while my husband ring changed color, more light yellow, my ring is a bit copper yellow. I complained.. And they took that ring. They done something because again it was okay when i picked it up.
but surprise, again after color got lighter. I started to be paranoid are the rings gold even.. We took the rings in marmaris for check are they real..

Well they said yes.

Still im not happy with these rings. They made my ring smaller and where they cut it, its showing. And names inside rings are looking very bad, they made by hand even they said they have "good machine" for it.

Well, its gone and that's it.. But like i said, i dont have so happy memories about gold stores ;)

We got our wedding rings made in Jasmins they done a nice job and they were very reasonable.

Unfortunatley when I got home my ring was to big. We took it back later that year and they fixed it with no charge. I know a lot of jewellers do this, but with the design of the rings I know it was'nt an easy job.

The also took our Scottish money with no problems or different exchange rate, not everyone does this.

Lynn.
