Hi to everyone from a newbie, I found this brill forum AFTER we had booked to go to Icmeler for the first time (shame). We fly out on the 11th Aug from Cardiff, any members on this flight? I'd like to ask a few questions about Icmeler if thats ok. We are staying at the Efem apts, we have read reviews about them on other sites, but wondered if any members on here had stayed there? We have been to Turkey three times before ( Dalyan twice and hisaronu once) and was wondering about the markets in Icmeler and Marmaris, in particular i like buying the fake watches and was keen to get a "Brietling" or "Jacob & Co" does anyone know if you can get any like this? Friends of ours are staying in Fethyia when we go, how far away is it? could we do it in a day? Thanks in advance for any info and we hope to meet some ICR members when we are there.

Hi Bazza, I've bougth a couple of fake watches from the bazar in Icmeler. Extremely good quality I have to say and are still working as good as the day I got them. If you do decide to get one I would suggest that you get it early in the holiday and wear it whenever possible so that if you do have a problem with it you can sort it whilst you are still there.

hi bazza, welcome to the forum mate.
You can get to Fethyia very easily but it takes about 4 hours so its probably a bit of a journey in one day, consider staying over one night it may be a better idea, its not that far but you have to change buses a couple of times and there is a few stop points on the way.

Hi bazza.........as Rosie says, there plenty of fake watch shops in Icmeler but it depends what you want. You can buy watches that look like the real thing from a distance.....and then..... you see it close up :( If you want some thing that is going to look pukka then you have to pay a little more but the visual quality is as good as the real thing  It's up to you what you want.

Efem apartments are in the Old Village on the road that runs at the side of Mr Chef Restaurant.
