Im off to marmaris in June for 2wks cant wait if anybody got any helpful tips of places to eat drink(plenty) that would be great.

best thing you can do is get on a taxi boat to icmeler...loads of good restaurants and entertainment without turkey tummy

hello Ed,

we go to Icmeler but always pop into Marmaris for a couple of nights during our holiday. There are loads of bars and restaurants along the beach front and then there's bar street. If you like Kareoke, the Baran bar on the beach front is a must. The compere is an english girl, Jenny I think, and what a voice she has. It doesn't really take off until about 11'ish but that's you till whenever, usually about 4 in the morning for us and then a fast cab back to Icmeler to recover. I don't wish to betray Icmeler, but the Kareoke bar there just doesn't compare.

wash your mouth out with soap and water betraying our own Deniz Kapisi karaoke bar like that in favour of another venue in Marmaris.
Icmeler will never forgive you till you do 200 lines,

"Deniz Kapisi is the best karaoke in Icmeler,"

When you have done your penance you again can walk the streets of Icmeler with your head held high,

Sorry Gene!!

I've been feeling guilty ever since I posted that last message. Normally, I'd never, EVER, say anything that might be to the detriment of Icmeler, but the Baran kareoke bar in Marmaris is a seriously good night. We've heard some really good chanters in there. Maybe we've just been lucky. Anyway, no more slagging off Icmeler from me. I always hated doing lines anyway.
