Has anyone had a look at the prices of the flights for next year. I need to go from Manchester on 22 July (due to work commitments) and the cheapest I have found so far is anywhere between £285 - 410. I am planning to wait until about June to book as hopefully by then the price will have come down, was hoping to pay around £225. Is this a reasonable price? Its the first time I have DIY'd. Di

Hi Fendlyra
Thanks for the info, that does put my mind at rest. I know of 1 person who has booked their flight already and paid £290 each. There are 4 of us so with accomodation it might have been cheaper to go through a tour operator. I am looking to go to the Sevgi apartments in the old village. We went last year and really enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to seeing Gunei and his staff again. Di.

I usually find Freedom Flights cheap, but they've not got July 06 yet....June 06 is showing as £308 with My Travel (and I've had a couple of BIG delays with them - MYT that is)
Flightline Essex have flights July 2006 at £254 flying with Monarch who I've always found to be fine. The other good news is that Flightline don't charge a % for paying by credit card so that could pay for a meal while you are there lol!! (Just come back from a last minute break in Lanzarote with their sister site and got fab service - the benefits of DIY without the worry)
Hope you find something in the price range you want - and have a fab time. We're off to
Icmeler for 3 weeks in July and can't wait

Have booked my flights for May 29th to 12 June 06 Freedom Flights@ £290 per person. Flying from Manchester @ 08-00am
Also 14th August to 28th August 06 Freedom Flights @ £320 per person.

Some may say expensive but at least I know I have got flights at the times and days I want.

I need a flight on Sat/Sun from Manchester, Birmingham or East Mids due to work commitments and at the moment there just are not any out so I am just going to have to wait until they are released. Some companies don't release their's until about 10/11 months prior to departure so I just hope that I will still be able to get accomodation I want when the flights go on sale. I am just praying that there are weekend flights to
Dalaman next year and hopefully around £250 in price they all seem to be on a Friday or Monday at the moment or cost a fortune. I dont mind paying up to around £270 otherwise it would be cheaper to book with the travel agent. Di.

I used Direct Holidays for my flights this year, a week in may cost me £190 and a fortnight in August £280 but these are from my (small) local airport. I rang Direct Holidays today to find out about flights for May 2006 but was told they will not release any seats on a flight only basis until August. Their prices were certainly the cheapest I found for this year so I think i'll hang on until August before I book anything.

I have just booked for July 21 06 with travel republic
http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk/Default.aspx on the internet. Cost 244 all in from Manchester. Not bad for school holidays and the cheapest I could find. Some companies look cheaper but when you add in all the taxes they worked out dearer so best to shop around. Staying at Angel Inn. Di.
