Weekend

Postby Gemma Louise » 01 Jul 2008 12:24

I know this may sound short and daft but me and hubby are thinking of going back to Icmeler but just for a few days, could this be done quite cost effectively? any recommendations?

Not to be a kill joy but personally i dont think even going for a week is long enough with settling in after the flight, the time change and trasnfer dont you think its a bit pointless for 4 days?

i reckon a weekend in Icmeler beats a weekend here or elsewhere if you get it at the right price

I would second that. People go to london for a long weekend and depending where you live and traffic conditions can take hours by car. We live in Manchester and went to a wedding in Greenwich last year, it took us 7 hours to get there due to traffic. So a 4 hour 15 flight is heaven compared to being stuck in a car, at least you get inflight drinks and food.

I would be all for it too at the right price.

Go for it.

We have been back 18 days, and it feels like months now. A weekend would be great.

I suppose some airlines that fly out twice a week could offer a few days, but it would be lucky if it just covered the weekend though. Good luck in your search though Gemma.

You may be able to get a weekend by doing 2 single tickets, and can work our cheaper sometimes that way. Ie flying out with one airline and coming back with another.
