Postby doublemorgans » 13 Jun 2008 21:33

flying out tomorrow for 12 nights at the rhodes apartments. its been long time coming cos booked flights sept 07.
could anybody advise if there are hairdryers in apts? just broken hand held weighing scales from argos (which will be getting returned tomorrow for nu set) after hooking my case on them. not a good sign so trying to leave a few things behind as had to fork out £49 last year as 7kilos over. also do they have any place to dry clothes - last year stayed at captain silver and had clothes drying thingy on balcony which was great.

Hi DMs

everywhere has places to dry thing on the balcony - even if it's just the rail itself
there are plenty of laundries in Icmeler which are cheap so you could just take half of your clothes and get them washed and ironed?

as for hairdryers, why not just take a travel one or even buy one over there - it won't cost £47 ha ha

have a great time too. don't suppose you've room in your suitcase for me ? I'll pay the excess baggage ha ha

They do have hairdryers ??

I spoke to Tango Saturday outside the ICR office and asked the same question and he said they have hairdryers, and the kitchens are equipt with a fridge, kettle and 2 ring hob. I was asking so I knew if to buy a cheapy toaster to take with us.

We've just booked up to go in October (and planning on going again in June '09), we went up last week to look around the place and as soon as he opened the door to show us I said we're booking here. Spotlessly clean, twin bedroom, decent sized living/kitchen area with pull out sofa bed to sleep up to 4, big wardrobe to get all your clothes in, with a big safe in it, fantastic balconies, stunning views and a perfect location (for us anyway) pool looks gorgeous - it was boiling when he showed us round and would have loved to have gone for a dip. Can't wait to get back, not even been home a full 24 hours and missing Icmeler already

Knowing Tolga he'll be rushing out now buying hairdryers if he thinks the guests want them - he loves to please!
We haven't stayed at Rhodes, we stay at his uncles place over the road, Tuncay, but I can't begin to say how welcome they made us going over to use their pool and bar.
When we left on Saturday both Tolga (Tango) and Inter were hiding in our bus to say goodbye!
