hi most of the local mini markets sell fresh bread giant submarine shape its a joy to eat . also down towards the tansas supermarket there is a bakery making it fresh most of the morning. you must try to resist it as its a special feature of turkey because if you don,t it will put pounds in weight on you. enjoy it everyone does. i,ve also just come back bill atkinson (very hot sun)

hey Januarybabe, if you can make it to the bakery it'll be worth it
all of the supermarkets have fresh bread in glass cabinets which you help yourself from
but the smell of freshly made bread can't be beaten at the bakery just behind Tansas
speaking of which, I'll have to go and make do with some Warburton's for now

bread

When we went to Icmeler in May we bought a large bread from the bakery near Tansas every day which you could have sliced on the machine. It was lovely and only cost 80 kurus, however on the last day the price had gone up to 2 lira. You could still buy the smaller bread for 50 kurus. Maybe they decided that there was different prices for tourists....hope I am wrong.
