Anyone got news from party at Vince's

Postby polly » 12 Jun 2008 20:55

Is there anyone back yet that was at the get together on Sunday :?: .
I am dying to know how many people were there, was it a good night, did Tony entertain you all  . Was sat at home Sunday night with a few efes, trying to pretend I was there. (it didn't work).
Someone please put me out of my misery

Thanks Polly

Mad's other half here, although there was only a small group, we had a fantastic time.We talked, danced and drank drank drank, but mostly we laughed   . It was great to finally put faces to names of people we have known for years via ICR. Those of you who did not turn up, and you know who you are, missed a fun packed night. Must say the girls from ICR are great fun and a big thanks to you both for your part in the festivites, Shaz and her Born in Africa dance and Donna and her break dancing  , that really had to be seen to be believed. It was also nice to see John there, thought he had gone home and would be missing. Can ICR please pass on our thanks to Vince and his staff for everything they did that night. Once again a big thanks to everyone who was there a great night had by all.Cant wait till we return next year.

Everyone who attended did have a good night. The dancing was great, as Elaine said, Donna's break dancing was brilliant. Lots of goings on with Tony and Donna through-out the night (photos to follow). I still cant remember all the dances, but I will practise again in October when I return. The Turkish waiters were brilliant doing their Turkish dances, so we decided to show them a typical British dance. Dance around the handbags

Phill and I had a lovely leg of lamb at Vince's earlier in the evening waiting for everyone to arrive. Worth ordering previously if anyone is interested.

It was great to put faces to names from the forum, and I am sure new friendships are forged.

Diane, we will have a get together in October to make up for the one you missed. So glad you are on the mend. I did think about you.

Hi Jemini

Sorry to hear the bad news about your Dad, and I hope all goes well with him for a speedy recovery.

Dont worry about not coming in on the night, at the end of the day, people go on holiday to have fun and relax. Its easy for plans to change for various different reasons, especially while away from home, meeting new friends, getting drunk in the afternoon etc etc. It's not as if any expense had been incurred for the night, just a friendly get together.

All the best,

Mary & Phill.

Hi folks,
A great night was had by those who were there. Great to put faces to the cyberfriends we have all become.
Jemini, I was sorry to hear about your Dad and wish him well for a speedy recovery. Our thoughts go out to you and your family.
When I find the time I will post some video footage from the night. Sorry I can't do it just now but I'll have to edit some of it (eh Tig    )
